Sridevi chose to celebrate her birthday (13 August) with the launch of the first look and two and a half minute theatrical trailer of 'English Vinglish' in the presence of her husband Boney Kapoor, daughters Janhavi and Khushi, film's producer R. Balki, and director Gauri Shinde.
She looked svelte, and smart in well-cut beige pair of trousers, and a white top, quite different from her sari-clad character in her much awaited comeback film.
She gracefully and candidly answered the questions of the media making it clear that she was open to work in films if she got good scripts, roles, and directors like Gauri Shinde.
